We originally designed the first low mount dual CP3 kit around 10 years ago. This is a complete redesign of that original low mount version. We have moved the pump location, and relocated the idler pulley position to allow for clearance of the late style power steering pump reservoir. This allowed the placement of the pump to be moved both up and outward. Where once we had issues with the need for very specialized fittings for the lower CP3, that is now a thing of the past. You can use readily available 90 degree AN fittings on a lower 5.9 pump, with good clearance between the fittings and any upper CP3 you may choose to use with the kit.
Our’s features a 1.28:1 drive ratio. This equates to comparable output from a stock displacement belt driven pump exceeding that of a 10mm stroker CP3. Since 2006 we have been running the CP3 with added RPM, with no abnormal issues. Of course we cannot vouch for other manufacturers modified stroker pumps. All unmodified pumps top out the flow potential at 3000 rpm. So to get the most of a stock pump with our dual CP3 kit, or any pump exceeding this flow limiting rev range, we can modify your pump and verify the testing results.
Our kit does NOT include a CP3 pump, you must provide your own. We provide a dual high pressure supply to the common rail, by relocating the pressure sensor to a custom machined tee connection. We include the Billet composite pulley, the mounting brackets and hardware, belt and idler, all the required high pressure components and connections, and dual CP3 controller.
